How does automated matching work in Curated Connections?

Automated Matchmaking tool
Think of it as running Tinder but for your community.
  1. You set the vibe – create a Networking Program and add preference questions (single‑select or multi‑select). Optionally, you can add talking prompts and create any Must Match or Don’t Match rules.
  2. Members sign up via a clean landing page - that looks something like this. They answer your questions, add a short bio, and optionally a Calendly link.
  3. Matching algorithm kicks in – at the scheduled day & hour.
  4. Algorithm finds the best pair by checking, in order:
    • Are both people due for a match based on their frequency preference? (Weekly, bi‑weekly, etc.)
    • Have they met recently? (Respects your Rematch Freeze period.)
    • Do they violate any Don’t Match rules or same‑company guardrails?
    • Do they satisfy every Must Match rule?
    • How many answers do they share? (More overlap = higher score.)
  5. Matches are created & delivered – one email (and Slack DM, if you connected it) CC’ing both people, complete with conversation prompts and “why we thought you’d click”.
  6. Feedback loop – after a few matches, we nudge participants for a quick rating and ghosting report. Chronic ghosts are automatically benched when they hit your Ghosting Limit.
Pro tip: Turn on Force Full Matching if you’d rather everyone pair up—even if it means a few “semi‑optimal” duos.
