How are matches delivered—Email only, or Slack DM too?

All matches are always made over emails - with an optional Slack delivery. Intro emails CCs both people giving them full context about the match and optional icebreakers

If your community is on Slack, you can also send this intro message to the members as Slack DMs. They will look something like this:

To turn on Slack delivery
  1. Go to global Community Settings → Integration for Slack → click “Connect Slack workspace” and follow steps.
  2. Save. Future matches will appear in both inboxes.
Good to know
  • If one member’s Slack email doesn’t match their signup email, the Slack notification doesn't get sent. Email intros are always sent.
