Do you support complementary matching (matching skills with needs)?
Automated Matchmaking tool
Absolutely. These types of matches are great to promote cross-pollination of knowledge between community members. There are two ways to do it:
“Don’t match” rules – create a rule that blocks identical pairings (e.g., don’t match “Investor” with “Investor”).
“Must match” rules – ask two mirror‑image questions like “What do you HAVE?” and “What do you NEED?” and then require the algorithm to match complementary answers.
Because the engine first checks these rules before looking for the highest overall score, you can reliably pair mentors with mentees, designers with founders, or any other complementary combination you can dream up.
Use must-match rule to create such matching
Matching questions must have the exact same set of options
